Is This the Ontario We Want?
Keep Hydro Public
Premier Kathleen Wynne and Liberal MPPs across our province have moved to sell shares of Hydro One, a public asset that belongs to us all. Bought and paid for with our taxes, Hydro One generates hundreds of millions every year for schools, hospitals and other vital public institutions and services in our communities.
ANTI-HYDRO PRIVATIZATION CAMPAIGN
Ontario’s New Democrats have launched a new website – youpaytheprice.ca – as part of our aggressive, multi-platform, anti-hydro privatization campaign.

Should 39% of voters decide who gets 100% of the power?
In the last two elections, our outdated voting system allowed a party to win 100% of the power with just 39% of the vote. As a result, millions of votes effectively didn’t count and too many Canadian voices aren’t heard in Ottawa.
The solution is simple – if a party gets 39% of the vote, they should get 39% of the seats in our Parliament.
